Barry the Great Comedy

An older man with a bald head and freckles wearing large black glasses with rhinestones, a maroon button-up shirt, and dark jeans, sitting on a wooden stool against an orange background.

Meet Barry

Barry Freydberg - known onstage as Barry the Great - spent 56 years as a practicing dentist before deciding that his 80s was time for a second act. He traded the drill for the mic and the journey began.

Barry brings the timing of a man who's told a room to "open wide" a thousand times, and the chutzpah of someone who's simply done waiting for permission to be funny. His material covers getting older, staying sharp, and a first marriage he describes as storybook - if the story had been written by Stephen King.

He's proof that a second act doesn't need a warm-up. Funny doesn't have an age limit.
