Like most Jewish kids of his age, Barry Freydberg grew up with an innate sense of self, survival, and a vivid imaginary world. Shipped off to sleep-away camp after the sudden death of his father, at that tender age of 10, he first stepped into his role as ‘Barry the Great’ to write a postcard home. Even though he might not have recognized it, it was at that moment Barry started his career in comedy. Barry attacks comedy with the fearless energy of the youth, and at his age he has absolutely nothing left to lose. Turns out the secret to eternal youth is just forgetting you’re old enough to know better.
